You look at yourself and see all the places you fall short.
Not smart enough.
Not confident enough.
Not strong enough.
Not talented enough.
Past mistakes still whispering that you’re disqualified.
You feel weak, broken, or just “not enough.”
But here’s the good news that can change everything:
God can use your weakness more than your strength.
2 Corinthians 12:9
“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”
God’s power shows up best in our weakness.
Not when we have it all figured out.
Not when we feel capable and strong.
But right in the middle of our “I can’t do this.”
Think about it:
Moses said he couldn’t speak well — God used him to lead a nation.
Gideon was hiding in fear — God called him a “mighty warrior” and used him to defeat a huge army.
David was a young shepherd boy — God used him to take down Goliath.
The disciples were ordinary, uneducated fishermen — God used them to turn the world upside down.
Your weakness is not a limitation to God.
It’s an opportunity for Him to show up.
When you feel weak:
You depend on Him more.
You pray more honestly.
You give Him all the glory instead of taking it yourself.
His strength has room to move.
1 Corinthians 1:27
“But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.”
He loves choosing the weak, the ordinary, and the unlikely — because then nobody can say, “Look what that person did.”
Instead, they say, “Look what God did through that person.”
Real talk:
You don’t have to fix yourself or become strong first before God can use you.
Bring your weakness to Him.
Bring your insecurity.
Bring your fears.
Bring your “not enough.”
Tell Him:
“Lord, I’m weak here… but I’m trusting You.”
Then watch what He does.
His grace is sufficient.
His power is made perfect — not in your strength — but in your weakness.
Isn’t it freeing to know that you don’t have to be perfect or powerful for God to do something beautiful through your life?
Today, stop hiding your weakness.
Stop waiting until you feel “ready.”
Offer it to Him instead.
He’s not looking for your strength.
He’s looking for your surrender.
